The Health Policy Institute released revised models for dental spending in the US in 2020 and 2021 based on the ADA Survey showing 90% of dental practices have re-opened.
Across 4 scenarios, the HPI estimates that dental spending will be down between 31 to 37 percent in 2020. Expectations in 2021 range from a 20 percent decrease to a .8 increase in dental spending.
